MARBLEHEAD CULTURAL COUNCIL

The Marblehead Cultural Council, appointed by the Select Board, is part of a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils (LCCs) sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council which serves all 351 cities and towns in the Commonwealth. The LCC program supports thousands of community based projects in the arts, sciences and humanities every year. All funding for the Marblehead Cultural Council comes from a state grant to the town which is based on their formula for local aid.  Grant applications are reviewed and awarded annually.
