MARBLEHEAD CULTURAL COUNCIL

The Marblehead Cultural Council (MCC) is one of 351 local organizations that are funded directly from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.  We use our allocations to support community-based activities in the arts, the humanities, including history, and interpretive sciences. Board members, who are selected by the Select Board, review applications and award grants.

PRIORITIES AND GUIDELINES
All projects must have a Marblehead location, benefit Marblehead residents, and be accessible to the general public.  The MCC has voted to place emphasis on new, emerging, and established artists and programs in local venues as well as racially and culturally diverse programing .
Programs that have received MCC funding for multiple years may have a lower funding priority so that we may consider new applications.  All funding grants are limited.  Each MCC funded project must be completed within the calendar year.
All grants made by the MCC are reimbursement-based. If you are awarded a grant, you will be required to submit a final report to the MCC upon completion of your program.
The Marblehead Cultural Council can only accept online applications. Detailed application process/forms and MCC priorities an be found at https://www.mass-culture.org/local-council/marblehead/.
